At Bruunmunch we take Corporate Social Responsibility very seriously. CSR is a cornerstone in our business philosophy. It encompasses our corporate commitment concerning the impact of our actions and decisions at a societal and environmental level and guide us in the development of new products and potential partnerships we venture into. Our sustainable practises all mount to the ultimate goal of
protecting our planet and the people who inhabit it. Building a sustainable business, we comply with the strictest EU guidelines concerning the materials we use and the suppliers we collaborate with. It is our creative ambition to make sustainable and beautiful furniture that will last a lifetime or more, but without inflicting any negative impact on the environment during the production process.
We do this by only choosing the highest quality and sustainable raw materials. When you choose furniture from Bruunmunch, you can rest assure that it is produced in close collaboration with Danish and European partners who share our mission to create strong furniture with respect for our nature..
At Bruunmunch we place high emphasis on eco-certified and health-labelled materials, as it is important to us that you and your family can use our furniture safely. As mentioned above we only partner with producers whose sustainable practices comply with the stringent requirements set forth by the European Union.
For example, our textiles from Kvadrat can be selected with the certified EU-Blomsten®, which has an environmental impact and the product life cycle in mind. The leather we use is from Soerensen Leather is Swan-labeled®, to ensure responsible environmental, social and animal welfare production conditions. Soeren Leather deliver leather also called Raw hides. Raw hides are a natural, circular material that is a by-product of the meat and dairy industry. Through upcycling, they are upgraded into high quality leather for further use. In doing so, waste is reduced through recycling and reusing. If raw hides weren’t transformed into leather, they would have to be disposed of by burying or burning, which would have a negative impact on the environment. Leather is a circular material that supports a circular economy. By upcycling raw hides into high quality leather through the responsible production processes Soerensen Leather reduces waste and contribute to the sustainable management of natural resources..
At Bruunmunch our solid wood tables are FSC®-certified, to ensure sustainable forestry. Wood plays a large role in many of our designs, consequently our choice of wood comes with a responsibility. We only use wood from sustainable forests. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council®) is a global labelling scheme for wood that aims to protect nature, as well as the people who work in and depend on it. With FSC you are assured that no more wood is felled than the forest can reproduce. At the same time the forest workers have access to training, safety equipment and a proper salary. In addition, the FSC is the only global labelling scheme that has broad support from green organizations such as WWF, Greenpeace and Forests of the World.

This is where you tell the story of your brand. Iconic brands such as Disney and Coca-Cola have long realized the power of their brand story to build a connection with their audience. Companies like Apple possess brand stories that are legendary in their status.
What’s in a story, though? How does the story develop authenticity? More to the point, how does such a story create that trusting feeling that customers crave?
